Arctic Data Extraction
This application includes advanced Arctic wave data extraction capabilities that handle the common ECCODES polar stereographic projection errors. The system automatically:
- Attempts multiple extraction methods (pygrib, wgrib2, CDO)
- Provides fallback methods for problematic Arctic GRIB files
- Returns data in standardized format regardless of extraction method
Usage
- Global GRIB Data: Click "Fetch Global Wave Data" to download worldwide wave information
- Single Location: Use "Fetch Location Wave Data" for specific coordinates
- Data Files: View and analyze previously downloaded data files

Error Handling
The application gracefully handles:
