Evaluation handoff rejected: "The accepted terms version is not current"

Hi organizers,

my team (Kanonenbombe, approved) published a devkit-built container artifact to the private repository created by the challenge frontend and queued an evaluation on 2026-10-07. The handoff was rejected immediately:

  • submission id: fd14a7a8-73d9-5a64-b5bf-dd611e7b09d6
  • status message: "Evaluation handoff was rejected; contact the challenge organizers."
  • detail shown below the row: "The accepted terms version is not current"

The participation page and the terms page both display terms version 2026-08-v1, and I accepted exactly that version via the checkbox in the submission form. There is no other way for a participant to accept a different version, so it looks like the frontend sends a terms version that the evaluation controller no longer accepts. The public leaderboard is also still empty.

Two questions:

  1. Could you align the terms version on both sides (or tell us what we need to re-accept) so that handoffs go through?
  2. Does this rejected handoff count against the limit of five submissions? If it does, could it be reset, since the artifact was never validated or run?

The artifact itself passed the devkit's reconstruct/validate flow and the self-evaluation kit locally, and it includes the Apache-2.0 LICENSE and NOTICE.

Thanks a lot!

  1. Try again.
  2. It does not count towards the limits.

Now it's working! Thanks!
