For the challenge, can we assume that the videos remain the same as train/val split and only the test queries will change?
This will help us package the dev-kit.
Videos may be different too. What do you mean set up the dev-kit?
If videos will be different too, then participants won’t be able to submit a solution which involves proprietary code to the challenge problem.
It would be great if we could submit atleast prediction files, but I guess at that point we are digressing from the challenge regulations.
correct. The challenge involves submitting code that runs remotely. You never get to see know video corpus or queries.
