Apply for a GPU community grant: Personal project
Hello Hugging Face team 👋
I’m applying for a GPU community grant to support a side project focused on open-source, agentic AI systems.
🔧 What I’m building
I’m developing an open-source agentic AI framework that focuses on:
• Multi-agent coordination (planner / executor / verifier style agents)
• Tool-augmented reasoning (APIs, RAG, system tools)
• Cost-aware and latency-aware inference
• Real-world use cases (health coaching, conversational assistants, developer tools)
The goal is to create practical reference implementations, not just demos — something the community can fork, learn from, and deploy.
🚀 Why GPUs are needed
The project requires GPUs for:
• Fine-tuning and experimentation with open models (LLaMA-family, Mistral, etc.)
• Evaluating agent behavior under different prompting and tool strategies
• Running inference benchmarks for latency, cost, and quality trade-offs
Without GPU access, progress is slow and experimentation is very limited.
🌍 Open-source & community impact
• Code will be fully open-source
• Clear documentation and architecture diagrams
• Reproducible experiments
• Regular updates shared with the HF community
• Intention to publish learnings as blogs / notebooks / demos
I strongly believe this project aligns with Hugging Face’s mission of democratizing and advancing open AI.
🙏 What I’m requesting
Access to a free or discounted GPU tier to support development and experimentation during the active build phase.
Thank you for supporting independent builders and the open-source ecosystem.
Happy to share more details, repos, or a roadmap if needed.
