Microphone recording not working in Chrome despite permissions being granted
Description:
I'm trying to use the Whisper Space to record audio via microphone in Chrome, but the recording doesn't start even though I've granted microphone permissions in Chrome's site settings. I've tried all 3 microphone options available in the Space — none of them work.
Steps to reproduce:
Open the Space in Chrome
Grant microphone permission when prompted
Try each of the 3 microphone options provided in the Space
Click the record button
Nothing happens / recording doesn't start
Environment:
Browser: Chrome 146.0.7680.153 (64-bit)
OS：Windows 11 (25H2)
Expected behavior: Recording should start after clicking the record button with any of the microphone options.
Actual behavior: No audio is captured with any of the 3 microphone options, despite microphone permission being enabled in Chrome.
