Dear HuggingFace,
My name is Phat Do, a PhD candidate at the University of Groningen (the Netherlands). This Space is for demonstrating the results connected to my PhD research project in doing text-to-speech (TTS) for low-resource languages, with the case study being West Frisian (Frysk), a local language in the north of the Netherlands. You could see more about my research at https://research.rug.nl/en/persons/phat-do/publications/. The TTS models in this Space, and also all the ones in my PhD work, are open-source.
I would appreciate it very much if the Space could be given access to a GPU so that inference can be a bit quicker and thus allow visitors to test the models out more conveniently.
