Apply for a GPU community grant: Academic project
Title: Request for ZeroGPU to Host Open-Source Educational AI Tools
Dear Hugging Face Team,
I am a student developer working on an academic project to build a fully open-source AI utility platform for the community. My goal is to integrate powerful open-source models like Zephyr-7B (for LLM) and BLIP-2 (for Image-to-Text) to provide free tools for prompt generation and background removal.
Currently, I am using the free CPU Basic tier, but these large models are running very slowly (high latency), making it difficult to test and showcase the project effectively.
I respectfully request access to ZeroGPU to run these heavy models efficiently. This project is strictly non-profit, open-source, and for educational purposes. I have kept the Space "Public" so others can learn from my implementation.
