To perform the acquisition of usful data derived from the pictures captured using a digital camera, a reduced-to-the-max equipment has been designed and built. The depicted verison of the hardware has been used to run fiel-tests and lear about the processing pipeline to be managed from the image acquisition, to the detection and segmentation, further down to select and deliver appropriate measurement point to an Enterprise Resource Planning solution.
