Code of Conduct

qalmsw should be a practical, respectful place to improve tooling for scientific writing quality.

Expected behavior

• Be direct and constructive when discussing bugs, limitations, and research claims.
• Focus criticism on code, data, documentation, and reproducible behavior.
• Respect differences in experience level, institution, geography, language, and research area.
• Assume public issues and pull requests are archived and searchable.

Unacceptable behavior

• Harassment, threats, or personal attacks.
• Dismissive comments about a contributor's identity, background, or affiliation.
• Publishing private information without permission.
• Repeated off-topic or bad-faith disruption.

Enforcement

Maintainers may edit, hide, or remove comments; close issues; reject pull requests; or block participants when necessary to keep the project usable. Report conduct concerns through the maintainer contact listed on the GitHub repository profile.
