YoutuVLProcessor does not support video input, but it is supported in chat template.

You are correct. Currently, the open-sourced Youtu-VL model focuses exclusively on image understanding. The video elements you noticed in the chat template are placeholders for our upcoming features.
We are actively working on expanding these capabilities, and video understanding will be officially supported in our future open-source releases. Stay tuned!
