Tsinghua SIGS Robot Lab represents the Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Laboratory at Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School, Tsinghua University. Led by Professor Houde Liu, the team advances embodied intelligence and intelligent robotics across humanoid robots, assistive and rehabilitation robots, special-purpose robots, human–robot interaction, intelligent planning and control, embodied manipulation, and embodied navigation.
Professor Liu is a Research Professor and PhD Supervisor at Tsinghua SIGS and was selected for China’s National High-Level Talent Special Support Program in 2024. He serves as Deputy Chair of the CAAI Technical Committee on Intelligent Decision-Making, Deputy Director of the Shenzhen Key Laboratory of Space Robotics Technology and Remote Science, and Director of the Joint Research Center for Industrial Embodied Intelligent Robotics.
