Installation error

I was trying to install geneformer without lfs files with the command you mentioned
GIT_LFS_SKIP_SMUDGE=1 git clone https://huggingface.co/ctheodoris/Geneformer
Then cd Geneformer
then pip install .
But I get the below error
ERROR: ERROR: Failed to build installable wheels for some pyproject.toml based projects (accumulation-tree)
Thank you for your question - if there is anything further in the error message, that may help to troubleshoot. Otherwise, perhaps try to pip install accumulation-tree separately.

Thank the error was related to compiler
Solution: export CFLAGS="-std=c99"
