🚀 Quick Start Guide

Running the HITL Drug Discovery Application

Option 1: Easy Launcher (Recommended)

python run.py

Option 2: Direct Launch

# Activate virtual environment
source venv/bin/activate  # On Windows: venv\Scripts\activate

# Run the application
python app.py

Option 3: Legacy Version (Backup)

# Activate virtual environment
source venv/bin/activate

# Run legacy version
python legacy/app_legacy.py

🌐 Access the Application

Once running, open your browser and go to: http://localhost:7860

🛑 Stop the Application

Press Ctrl+C in the terminal to stop the application.

📁 Project Structure

• app.py - Main entry point (works for both local and Hugging Face Spaces)
• run.py - Easy launcher script
• src/ - Modular source code
• legacy/ - Legacy monolithic version (backup)
• venv/ - Virtual environment

🔧 Troubleshooting

Virtual Environment Issues

# Create virtual environment
python -m venv venv

# Activate it
source venv/bin/activate  # On Windows: venv\Scripts\activate

# Install dependencies
pip install -r requirements.txt

Import Errors

Make sure you're in the project directory and virtual environment is activated.

Port Already in Use

If port 7860 is busy, the app will automatically use the next available port.
