| ## Running the HITL Drug Discovery Application | |
| ### Option 1: Easy Launcher (Recommended) | |

| ### Option 2: Direct Launch | |

| # Activate virtual environment | |
| source venv/bin/activate # On Windows: venv\Scripts\activate | |
| # Run the application | |
| python app.py | |

| ### Option 3: Legacy Version (Backup) | |

| # Activate virtual environment | |
| source venv/bin/activate | |
| # Run legacy version | |
| python legacy/app_legacy.py | |

| ## 🌐 Access the Application | |
| Once running, open your browser and go to: | |
| **http://localhost:7860** | |
| ## 🛑 Stop the Application | |
| Press `Ctrl+C` in the terminal to stop the application. | |
| ## 📁 Project Structure | |
| - **`app.py`** - Main entry point (works for both local and Hugging Face Spaces) | |
| - **`run.py`** - Easy launcher script | |
| - **`src/`** - Modular source code | |
| - **`legacy/`** - Legacy monolithic version (backup) | |
| - **`venv/`** - Virtual environment | |
| ## 🔧 Troubleshooting | |
| ### Virtual Environment Issues | |

| # Create virtual environment | |
| python -m venv venv | |
| # Activate it | |

| # Install dependencies | |
| pip install -r requirements.txt | |

| ### Import Errors | |
| Make sure you're in the project directory and virtual environment is activated. | |
| ### Port Already in Use | |
| If port 7860 is busy, the app will automatically use the next available port. | |
